UNHCR representative: Iran's services for refugees valuable

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees representative in Tehran Sivanka Dana Pala said here on Wednesday that services of Iran for refugees are highly invaluable and excellent.

On the sidelines of a tour to historical house in Kashan, accompanied by a group of foreign diplomats, Dana Pala told reporters that in 20 years of his carrier in the UNHCR in different countries, he had found Iranian services for refugees and foreign citizens very worthy.
Concerning his two-day visit to Isfahan and Kashan along with foreign diplomats, Dana Pala said the delegation is to closely watch Iranian services for refugees in the fields of education, health and living situation and report it to the international community.
Ambassadors of Australia, Sweden, Afghanistan and the Netherlands as well as representatives of Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Japan and France accompanied Sivanka Dana Pala in the trip.
The diplomatic group visited Tabatabaei House in Kashan and held meeting there to consider living situation of refugees in Iran .
Tabatabaei House is a masterpiece of art of architecture dating as back as almost 200 years ago in the era of Qajar Dynasty.
The building with fabulous decoration and gorgeous architecture is one of the most beautiful and interesting historical building in Kashan, registered as national cultural heritage.
